Kaaronica Evans-Ware was born and raised in Decatur, Illinois. She graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Communication. She lives in Santa Barbara where she is a PhD student in the Department of English at UC Santa Barbara. She enjoys reading, international travel, physical fitness, and dance.
